1819, First Edition. London : Orme. Poor folio copy, with all plates removed (from 40 as issued), in contemporary full gilt-decorated red leather over boards, now with scuffs and scratches. Panel edges worn; spine rubbed, particularly at the joints and endbands. Text block shaken, with some leaves coming loose. Front free endpaper lacking; the text leaves are complete. Aside from minor marginal smudges and faint offsetting from absent plates, the leaves are strong and clean on the whole. A serviceable example for its text. Item #473362
