All boards present, but mostly detached. Spines with raised bands; all vols. lacking leather labels save vol. 3. Vol. 2 and 4 edges lightly stained, with leaf surfaces unaffected. Text blocks remain strong and sound, showing only the expected minor foxing and offsetting of age. A very serviceable set. Provenance: bookplate of C. D. Nicholson. Item #470792
