Text blocks uniformly strong: tight and clean, with faint foxing to the prelims and edges only. Cover surfaces lightly scuffed; endbands and corners somewhat rubbed. Vols. 2, 4, 5, and 6 in original binding, with hinges cracked, tender or starting. Vol. 2 spine cover coming loose, attached only at the lower front joint; rear hinge attached only at the mull. Vols. 1 and 3 expertly recased, now very strong, with the original covers laid in. A very serviceable set overall, retaining much aesthetic value. Item #464162
