Boards lightly scuffed and dust-dulled; edges somewhat rubbed. Headband and joints worn, with some minor tears; tailband has a more substantive medial tear. Small tear to the gutter between frontispiece and title page, affecting the margin only. Text block otherwise sound and notably tight; free from foxing, and very legible, if showing the dust-dulling of age. A well-preserved example overall. Item #463845
