An essay on the epidemic cholera : being an inquiry into its new, or contagious character; including remarks on the treatment; as likewise, tables of the average rate of disease and mortality, recently occurring in London
1832, First Edition. London : Burgess and Hill. Good copy, in contemporary cloth-backed marble boards, with evidence of a now-lacking leather spine label. Boards considerably dust-dulled and edgeworn, with marble paper separating at the spine-side seam. Front hinge cracked, with board held quite secure by two twine supports. Some contemporary manuscript medical notes are attached to the half-title by a nail; the half-title now shows a minor internal tear. Text remains otherwise sound and secure throughout, remaining remarkably bright and clean, showing only sparse and minor dust-dulling to the margins. A well-preserved copy overall. Item #462916
