Report : improvements and town planning committee relative to post-war reconstruction in the City
1941, First Edition. London : Corporation of London. Good copy only, in the original gilt-blocked cloth boards, formerly backed in red leather which is now lacking except for the strips lying flush at the joints. The cloth internal spine remains sound and is now exposed. Boards somewhat dust-dulled, with a stain from a now-missing strip of tape. Some ephemera dated 1944 are stapled or loosely inserted in front of the flyleaf. Text remains tight, bright and clean throughout; folded matter remains crisp. Provenance: From the library of the Daily Mirror, with some marks from accessioning and deaccessioning. Item #462676
