Cover edges and endbands somewhat rubbed; both joints show long, tight lengthwise tears, and the lower spine cover is detached (but present). Front free endpaper lacking; contemporary reader autographs to front pastedown and flyleaf. Preliminary and final leaves somewhat dust-dulled and foxed, with the interior remaining bright and clean. The frontispiece, foxed at the margins, retains its tissue-guard. A very serviceable copy overall. Item #461833
