Rear joint cracked, with binding cracked inside both front and rear endpapers; covers and text block remain secure. Edges, preliminary leaves, and final leaves lightly foxed. Copious notes in ink to front endpapers and pencil throughout, including contemporary dates and seating arrangements, suggesting a working volume. A well-preserved and unique example overall.
