1889, First Edition. London : Committee of Council on Education. Good portfolio copy, with strong leaves; the exterior is comprised of leather-backed, gilt-illustrated cloth boards. Spine heavily worn, with some tearing at the tail. Boards slightly dust-dulled and rubbed along the edges. Inner portfolio folder flaps slightly edgeworn. Plates, disbound as issued, are very good, if slightly foxed and dust-dulled in the margins. Remains a well-preserved example overall. Item #461070
