Spines heavily worn, with tearing to the joints and endbands; both lacking volume labels, but retaining gilt-blocked black leather title labels. Volume 1 rear joint broken, with spine cover pivoting on the rear. Boards and corners somewhat rubbed along the edges. Front board volume 1 coming detached. Text blocks remain notably tight, if faintly and sporadically foxed. Some minor library marks remain. A very serviceable set overall. Item #459258
