1849, New Edition. London : William Tegg & Co. Good copy only, in the original cloth-covered boards, blind-ornamented to the front. Spine title now bears traces only of former gilt blocking. Both hinges broken, with the text block loose in its covers. Covers heavily dust-dulled; joints and endbands rubbed, with some fraying to the latter, particularly at the head. The text block is complete and clean overall, though slightly dust-dulled and shaken in the early leaves, some of which are loose. The remainder of the text block, from page vi onward, remains securely bound. A very serviceable copy overall. Item #458737
