Spine compartments elaborately ornamented, and with a red leather title label. Boards somewhat rubbed at their edges and joints, with some sun-toning to the top edges and spine. Endpapers and edges vividly marbled; prize label to front pastedown. Internally tight, bright and clean, with surprisingly sharp corners. Colour plates retain their letterpress tissue-guards.
