Good copy in the original black- and gilt-decorated red cloth over beveled boards, now somewhat dust-dulled and rubbed at the panel edges and spine bands. Illustrated endpapers; colour plates retain their tissue guards. Light foxing to preliminary and final leaves; internally bright and clean. Page xi is coming loose at the top, with binding otherwise tight throughout. Remains well-preserved overall. Item #456463
