1883, New Edition. Paris : Michel Lévy frères. Good, tight copies all in gilt-tooled quarter leather with spine bands over marble boards. Boards and spine somewhat rubbed as with age, with edges somewhat dust-toned. A section of v.1 front board marbled paper apparently came loose and was securely re-adhered (without loss). Generally clean within, with some sporadic dust-dulling and marginal foxing. A well-preserved set overall. Provenance: bookplate of Gordon Pirie. Item #455461
