Good copies both in the original full leather, with gilt-blocked leather labels to spine. Volume 1 front joint is broken with the front board attached at one thread only; the "volume" label is lacking from this volume's spine. The other joints are tender, but holding. Covers show the expected wear of age, with some scuffs and rubbing around the extremities. Some light, sporadic foxing internally, with edges dust-toned; the flyleaves of both volumes are coming loose at the foot. Except as noted, the overall impression is of notably tight and clean text.
