Spines worn and sun-toned, with some tears at the extremities (particularly head of volume 5). Volume 1 front hinge broken with backstrip detached from (still secure) text block; volume 6 text block cracked and partly separated between prelims and core text. Some variable, if generally faint, foxing throughout the set. Frontispieces retain their tissue guards. The set is an overall well-preserved example for its age. Item #453100
