Housed in a protective title-printed stiff-card wrapper. Rare; Description: 1 print : lithograph ; 36.4 x 48.2 cm. Smith, Kline & French Laboratories commissioned Robert Riggs, eminent American artist, to select a series of dramatic scenes in modern medicine and record them for American physicians. This he has done in a series of lithographs, of which the first, "Accident Ward," is enclosed in this folder. Riggs was one of, if not the leading American lithographers of the 20th Century and was winner of the Logan Prize and the Eyre and Pennell Medals for Lithography. Item #22913
