Particularly and surprisingly well-preserved; tight, bright, clean and strong. Copy previously owned by Vivian Ridler with his uninked embossed personalised stamp to front free endpaper. Vivian Ridler, CBE (2 October 1913-11 January 2009), ex-Faber executive was also a printer, typographer and scholar in Britain.
